ΒΟΤΣΑΛΑΚΙ ΒΟΤΣΑΛΑΚΙ - DIY WITH PEBBLES

Βοτσαλάκι, βοτσαλάκι..... Εκατοντάδες βότσαλα απλωμένα στις ελληνικές παραλίες.

Άλλοι τα αγαπούν, για το πολύχρωμο σεντόνι που δημιουργούν και άλλοι τα μισούν, γιατί δεν βολεύουν στα παιχνίδια, ούτε για να απλώσουν τις πετσέτες τους και να ξαπλώσουν.
There are hundreds of pebbles at the greek beaches.
Some love them, for the coloureful sheet they create and others hate them, because they are uncomfortable for beach games or to stretch their towels and lie down.

Τα βότσαλα είναι ένα ακόμα υλικό με το οποίο μπορούμε να φτιάξουμε κατασκευές.

Η πιο απλή χρήση είναι, όπως και τα κοχύλια, να μπουν σε μια γυάλα ή ένα βάζο μαζί με λουλούδια και ρεσό και να δημιουργήσετε ένα κηροπήγιο.
Pebbles are another material for constructions.
The simpliest use is, as sea shells, to put them in a jar or vase with flowers and candles and create a candlestick.

Συμβουλές / Tips:

1. Να θυμάστε, πως τα χρώματα των βότσαλων δεν είναι έντονα, όπως τότε που τα μαζέψατε στην παραλία και πιθανότατα ήταν βρεγμένα. Για να "φανεί" το πραγματικό τους χρώμα η πιο εύκολη και χαμηλού κόστους λύση είναι να τα περάσετε με άχρωμο, γυαλιστερό βερνίκι. Κατά προτίμηση σε μορφή σπρέι.

Remember, the colors of the pebbles are not as intense as when you got them on the beach and were probably wet. In order to "see" their true color, the easiest and low cost solution is to pass them with a colorless, glossy varnish. Preferably in the form of a spray.

2.Εάν έχετε σκοπό να τα ζωγραφίσετε, καλύτερα να χρησιμοποιήσετε γκρι βότσαλα. Έτσι θα φαίνονται πιο έντονα τα χρώματα.

If you are going to paint them, it is better to use gray pebbles. This will make the colors look more intense.
